Cooper Kupp burst onto the scene in the 2021 season. After being a solid but non-spectacular wideout for the Los Angeles Rams for the past four seasons, he posted a triple-crown season, earned an MVP vote and became the most dominant offensive player for the NFC champions. In Super Bowl 56 against the Bengals, nothing has changed.

Kupp, who took home the Offensive Player of the Year award, continued his dominance in the postseason with a second-quarter touchdown from Matthew Stafford. He picked up a big first-down conversion earlier in the game.

Kupp's touchdown, the second of the game for the Rams, put him in the history books alongside legendary Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Those two are the only player to catch a touchdown in four playoff games in a single run. Fitzgerald accomplished the feat in the 2008 season when he scored seven touchdowns in his first four postseason games.

Kupp came into this game with the chance to make history in several ways. He has already done so in just the first half of the game. Los Angeles has asked a lot of their star wide receiver. He has done nothing but deliver tremendous performances.

The Rams' high-powered offense has always run through Kupp. The connection he and Stafford have built throughout their first season together is a thing of beauty. Although it is still debatable who the best NFL wide receiver is, Kupp made a monstrous case in just one season by leading the league in catches, reception yards and receiving touchdowns. Although matching his crazy stats from this season is a tall order, Kupp has put the league on notice.
