The Los Angeles Rams have plenty to be confident about going into Super Bowl 53. However, linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. has noticed the team taking a rather humble approach in the 2018 NFL season.

Fowler joined the Rams as an in-season addition from the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated, he is impressed with how focused this star-studded roster is:

“I’m grateful to work with a group of guys like that,” Fowler said. “We have a lot of star power, guys with accolades, rings, Hall of Fame credentials, but these guys are humble and they put all that behind them. They keep the main thing the main thing.”

Fowler's comments are certainly understandable. He came from a Jaguars team that is known for having its fair share of outspoken players. While the Rams boast an equal amount of star power, they have done a solid job avoiding any unnecessary headlines.

There is no question that Los Angeles has a number of high-profile, charismatic players of their own. Although running back Todd Gurley and defensive tackle Aaron Donald are regarded as the best players at their position, they are not known for flaunting their elite status. Perhaps their approach may have rubbed off on all the star players they added to the roster this offseason.

Regardless, it is easy to see why the players that have been with the team for a while have remained humble despite their massive success recently. They are just two seasons removed from going 4-12 following their relocation to Los Angeles. That feeling of utter defeat is still fresh in many of these players' minds and they are doing everything they can to ensure it does not happen again.
