Just when the Los Angeles Rams' offense looked even more terrifying with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., it took a huge blow to the gut with wide receiver Robert Woods suffering a torn ACL injury during Friday's practice, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Although nothing has been made official, as of this writing, with regards to Woods' availability for Week 10's game against the San Francisco 49ers and beyond, it goes without saying that an ACL tear is likely going to cost him the rest of the season.

The Rams have one of the most lethal passing attacks in the NFL, with quarterback Matthew Stafford under center and surrounded with incredible talent. Apart from Woods, the Rams have the top wide receiver in the NFL this season in Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, and now OBJ. Speaking of which, Beckham's arrival to Hollywood could not have come at a more perfect time, as he'll definitely get a larger role, with Woods out for a considerable time.

Woods is second among all Rams receivers this season with 556 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 45 receptions and 65 targets. Moreover, Woods is also second overall in the NFL in red-zone targets (18), which underlines just how important he is for the Rams' offense that is fifth overall with 29.0 points per game and fourth with 399.3 total yards per contest.
