Los Angeles Rams star Marcus Peters has caught a lot of heat for his interaction with a fan during the team's loss against the Philadelphia Eagles and he now admits that he shouldn't have reacted like that. A video that was posted on Instagram shows Peter's going into the stands and saying a few choice words to a fan that appears to be heckling him.

Peters was asked about his reaction and he said he is an emotional person but wishes he would have approached it a different way. Via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.

“It was just fan and player interaction. I mean sometimes it’s a thin line between just people being disrespectful and then certain things happen. And I’m just the type of person that reacts to things like that. I shouldn’t have reacted like that, it was in the middle of the third quarter too, so things like that just happen, but I didn’t mean anything by it. I mean perception says that it was Marcus Peters acting up again, but it’s whatever to me. Talked to coach about it and we move on.”

Peters and coach Sean McVay talked about the issue earlier this week and McVay said he was confident that if the situation was to happen again, there would be a different outcome and Peters would handle it differently.

The league office still has not commented on the situation but there is still a chance that he could be fined for going into the stands.
