“I got an opportunity to comment like any other person on Instagram,” Suh said. “Really made an observation any blind man could see.”
The NFL had posted a highlight of Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey taking a 71-yard touchdown to the house. Suh had left a comment mentioning that it was “right up the gut” where he would normally be.
There are a number of reasons why his comments have been interpreted as shade towards Miami. They once made him the highest-paid defensive player in the league until his unceremonial departure from the team this offseason. That said, it is easy to see why Suh decided to poke a little fun at them.
Regardless, it is clear that both sides are ready to move on. Suh now joins a star-studded Rams with Super Bowl expectations moving forward. They will certainly need his run-stopping ability if they are going to meet their expectations for this season.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh made headlines recently after he appeared to be throwing shade at his former team the Miami Dolphins. However, he has been adamant that it was not the case.
Suh's comments made it seem as though there is still some disdain between him and the Dolphins. However, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry, he says there are no hard feelings.
