Steven Jackson was one of the league's best running backs and will forever be remembered in Los Angeles Rams' history. Although, Jackson spent his entire career with the Rams while they were in St. Louis.

After going to a Rams practice, the NFL requested a random drug test for Steven Jackson after signing a one-day contract with Los Angeles. The Rams signed him to a one-day contract just so he could officially retire with the franchise.

The legendary Rams running back took to Twitter to announce he received a drug test from the NFL. His response was comical.

During the one-day contract, the Rams had Jared Goff hand the ball off to Jackson. After taking the handoff, Jackson made a cut upfield that likely prompted the drug test to be sent to him. Jackson absolutely looks like he could still play in the NFL.

Jackson spent nine of his 12 seasons in the NFL with the Rams. During his time with the Rams, Jackson rushed for 10,138 yards and 56 touchdowns. Altogether, Jackson rushed for 11,438 yards and 69 touchdowns in his entire career.

When he was with the Rams, the team struggled to win games as the roster was downtrodden compared to Sean McVay's current roster. Despite the team's struggles, Jackson ended up becoming the Rams' all-time leading rusher.

What makes that so impressive is that the Rams have had the likes of Eric Dickerson and Marshall Faulk before Jackson arrived. Now, Todd Gurley is carrying the torch as the elite Rams running back. Even the NFL realizes just how special Jackson was by sending him a drug test while he is retired.
