The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-7 Sunday. In the win, Matthew Stafford had a field day, throwing for almost 300 yards and three touchdowns. One of those went to Cooper Kupp, who had a big day for the Rams.

After the game, Stafford talked about his connection with Kupp and how much he appreciates his teammate.

Despite the tweet pointing to Stafford's praise of Odell Beckham Jr, it was Kupp who Stafford heaves praise on.

“He's a great player, he's a great teammate, he's a great friend. He comes to work every day with the right mindset to get better. He leads that wide receiver room in a great way… we're just lucky to have him and I'm happy to be a teammate with him.”

During the game, Kupp caught eight passes for 129 yards and a touchdown. He now has over 100 catches for over 1,300 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns this season. All three of those lead the NFL.

Kupp joined elite company Sunday. Prior to Sunday, only Michael Thomas, Wes Welker, Julio Jones and Marvin Harrison had ever recorded 100 catches in his team's first 12 games. You can add Cooper Kupp to that list now.

The Rams improved to 8-4 on the season with the win over the Jaguars. They travel to Arizona to face off with the division leading Cardinals next week. However, even if they win that game, they will be a game back. A wild card berth is the most likely scenario for Los Angeles.

But for Stafford and Kupp, they want to keep the offense on track and playing well heading down the stretch. The rest will take care of itself.
