Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams were able to carve out a huge 54-51 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. It was one of the best games that fans have ever seen and broke records for the number of points scored. The game also took the Rams to 10-1 on the season, while dropping the Chiefs to 9-2.

Even though the Rams were able to get the win, there were still major questions about some decisions that were made throughout the game. One of those decisions was McVay's three consecutive passes on the final drive for L.A. that left plenty of time on the clock for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' offense.

In a quote shared by Vincent Bonsignore of The Athletic, McVay explained the decision to pass the football rather than running clock.

McVay's decision could have gone horribly wrong. Kansas City almost intercepted one of the passes and then had time left on the clock. Mahomes ended up throwing an interception, but it was still enough to make fans sweat.

Jared Goff was an absolute stud throughout the game for the Rams. He ended up completing 31 of his 49 pass attempts for 413 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. Those numbers are just another sign that the Rams have one of the best young quarterbacks in the game.

Kansas City also has one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Mahomes may have lost the game and thrown three interceptions, but he racked up 478 yards and six touchdowns.

Both of these teams are incredibly fun to watch, and not many fans would be upset seeing a rematch between them in Super Bowl 53.
