Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley has not had a good first half of the season, and along with his struggles, the Rams have been up and down.

However, Gurley still has the entire second half ahead of him, and he plans on finishing strong:

“Right now we’re just focusing on week-by-week,” Gurley said on ESPN's The Jump on Friday. “Definitely lost a bunch of games that we shouldn’t have lost and they were NFC game. … No one’s remembering who wins the first eight games. It’s all about the end of the season. We’ve just got to find our way.”

Most recently, Gurley carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Cincinnati Bengals, representing the first time Gurley averaged four yards per carry since Week 1.

On the season overall, the three-time Pro Bowler has rushed for 355 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 3.9 yards per attempt. In addition, he has logged 15 catches for 81 yards and a score.

Gurley's health has been a hot topic of discussion all season long, as the 25-year-old suffered a knee injury in Week 15 of last year and missed the final two games of the regular season. He returned for the playoffs and looked great in the Divisional Round, but he was a virtual non-factor in the NFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl, leading many to believe that he was not 100 percent.

The fact that he has not looked much better through eight weeks this season has not exactly helped his case.

The Rams are 5-3 and are in their bye week.
