Todd Gurley and the Los Angeles Rams are heading into their playoff matchup with the Dallas Cowboys as favorites. They have been one of the best teams in the NFL all season long, but have struggled a bit late in the year. Part of their issues have been due to the health concerns of star running back Todd Gurley.

According to a report from Joe Curley of the Ventura County Star, Gurley was limited once again in practice on Wednesday. His latest injury update certainly provides reason for concern in Los Angeles.

Gurley was an MVP candidate throughout the 2018 NFL season. He was the best running back in the league for the majority of the season, but ended up losing out on the rushing title to Cowboys' running back Ezekiel Elliott. The two will hopefully face off against each other this week.

During the 2018 season, Gurley ended up carrying the football 256 times for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Rams. He also caught 59 passes for 580 yards and four touchdowns.

The Rams are going to need Gurley to be on the field and productive against the Cowboys. Dallas may not be viewed as an equal to Los Angeles, but they are capable of putting up numbers. Gurley is more than capable of changing the outcome of any game he plays in.

Hopefully, Gurley's injury issues will clear up in the next 48 hours. He needs to get back on the practice field to get a good grip of this week's game plan. If he doesn't, his status for this week's game is going to be in jeopardy.

Expect to hear more about Gurley tomorrow. The Rams will have their hands full if he is unable to play.
