Why The Rangers Could Cover The Spread

Texas should actually be pretty excited this game is not at Globe Life Park. The Astros dominate the Rangers on their home field, so this game being at Minute Maid Park is going to help the Rangers. All three of the Rangers wins have come on the road this series, which means they are comfortable on the road. The Rangers are going to come out swinging, and that is what they need to do if they want to win this game. Scherzer can not be trusted to go six or seven scoreless innings, so it will be up to the offense. Corey Seager, Adolis Garcia, Josh Jung, Jonah Heim, and the rest of the lineup will need to have a huge game.

Why The Astros Could Cover The Spread

The Astros faced Scherzer in this series already, and they were able to really get to him. Houston put up five runs on five hits through four innings in the win. Scherzer was not at his best, and the Astros took full advantage of that. This did not come as a surprise, though. Scherzer is not a great postseason pitcher, and it is unlikely he will become one in this game. Houston needs to have the same type of game in this one if they want to make their return to the World Series.

Javier has been very good this postseason. In two starts, he has thrown 10 2/3 innings, allowed just four hits, struck out 12, and given up just two runs. He has pitched against the Rangers this series, and that ended in a win for the Astros. All he has to do is pitch the same type of game, and the Astros will win.

Final Rangers-Astros Game 7 Prediction & Pick

Game seven. There is nothing more exciting. This is going to be an intense game filled with an incredible amount of emotion. When it comes to picking a winner, I am going to ride with the pattern. The away team has won every game this series, so I like the Rangers to upset the Astros in this one.

Final Rangers-Astros Game 7 Prediction & Pick: Rangers +1.5 (-184), Over 9 (-105)
