The world was much simpler back in 2019. For at least one night, Danny Green was able to relive a moment from then as his Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the Raptors in Toronto on Thursday night.

Danny Green was finally presented his championship ring from the magnificent 2019 NBA title run after waiting over a thousand days to receive it. Check out the awesome scene below as Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet gave out the ex-Raptors veteran's ring:

The length delay wasn't just a matter of procrastination or logistical issues. Danny Green could have gotten the ring at various points in the past. But being able to receive it in front of a handful of appreciative fans was an opportunity he didn't pass up.

The Raptors offered to deliver the ring to Danny in LA. He could've gotten it when the Lakers played the Raps in the bubble, when the Sixers visited Tampa, or this past preseason. He waited this long to do it in a packed house in Toronto. Glad he'll finally get that experience.

Danny Green started all 24 games of the Raptors run towards the Larry O'Brien trophy back in 2019. His contributions to the cause won't ever be forgotten.
