The Toronto Raptors have impressed many around the NBA in various facets of their game, especially with the way they have revamped their offense. They currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference, even though they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday in a close game.

Against the Cavs, the Raptors really showcased how good their offense has been of late. In just 24 minutes, the Raptors poured on 79 points on their opponents. It turned out that the number of points was a franchise record, per ESPN Stats and Info.

So not only did the Raptors show how good they are on offense, but the Cavs showed just how bad they can be on defense. It's quite astonishing that no team that LeBron James has been on hasn't given up that many points in 15 years. That's a really long time, to say the least.

Fortunately for the defending Eastern Conference champions, they managed to pick it up and win the game. But for the Raptors, they gave up a 15-point lead despite that red-hot first half.

However, the fact that the Raptors have that type of firepower should concern the rest of the NBA when the playoffs roll around. As mentioned before, the Raptors completely revamped their offense, which features more ball movement and man movement.

When the playoffs start, they are going to be a tough one regardless. But now, the Raptors can have big scoring runs, which could completely destroy the narrative that the team sinks in the playoffs.
