Kyle Lowry's time with the Toronto Raptors might be all but done; however it's not as if he's leaving the team without a legacy in the franchise.

Raptors fans have been claiming that the 35-year-old is definitely up there when it comes to all-time greats to ever don the Raptors' colors. In fact, head coach Nick Nurse said as much when asked bout the veteran guard.

For what it's worth though, the Lowry isn't admitting nor denying the claim.

After Wednesday's win over the Denver Nuggets, Lowry was asked about being called the greatest Raptor ever, and his response was rather humble.

“I can't call myself that,” Lowry said, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports. “I'll let you guys decide those things.”

Looking at his Toronto resume, Kyle Lowry has certainly done enough to be called one of the best, if not the best, to ever play for the Raptors. After eight and a half seasons playing for the city of Toronto, Lowry has cemented his spot as the franchise's leading assists man, 3-point maker, and triple-double leader. The six-time All-Star also leads the franchise in overall win shares and is up there in terms of games and minutes played.

Obviously, his contribution to the Raptors' unbelievable championship run back in 2019 will forever be in the memory of all the hoop heads in Toronto.

Amid all the trade talks that have amped up in the past few weeks, Lowry is sitting still and simply focusing on what he can control. He's letting the people talk and, like all of us, waiting for the trade deadline to come so we can all finally move on and see what the next chapter is in Lowry's storied career in the NBA.
