Though he's not on the team's official injury report anymore, Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam has been dealing with a touch of calf soreness. The ailment was an issue in Sunday's series-tying victory over the Sixers, but Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is expecting Siakam to play a bigger role in Game 5.

Siakim noted that his calf was bothering him during Sunday's game, but he didn't feel the need to sit out. The injury affected his lateral movement, resulting in a shoddy field goal percentage (nine points on 2-of-10 shooting from the field; 0-4 from beyond the arc). He started 0-for-8 before making his first shot with 4:15 left in the third quarter, and five of his nine points came at the free-throw line. He did, however, record three steals in the win.

Though his calf is still a bit sore, Nurse thinks Siakam will have a better outing in Game 5:

More information with regards to Siamkam's status for Game 5 should be released after Tuesday's shootaround.

Siakam, now 25 years of age, has become an important piece of Toronto's rotation on both ends of the floor. The Cameroonian big made 80 appearances with the Raptors during their 2018-19 regular-season campaign, racking up averages of 16.9 points on 54.9 percent shooting from the field (36.9 percent from beyond the arc), 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and just under one steal (0.9) in 31.9 minutes per outing.

The Raptors and Sixers will meet for Game 5 on Tuesday night. Tip-off inside Scotiabank Arena is set for 8:00 p.m. ET, with TNT having live broadcast coverage.
