The Toronto Raptors have something special in Scottie Barnes. He reminded fans of that yet again in their comeback win against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

The Raptors rookie stuffed the stat sheet plenty as he tallied 25 points and 10 assists to go along with eight rebounds, two steals and a block. His 25-10 points-assists mark earned him a place in franchise history, becoming just the second rookie with that stat line since Damon Stoudamire way back in the 1995-96 season.

Damon Stoudamire actually piled on nine such games, which speaks to the kind of rookie season that he had. However, that was arguably the best season of his career serving as the focal point of the very first Raptors team.

The fact that Scottie Barnes, who isn't a point guard nor is he the primary option or ball-handler on the current Raptors team, was able to pile on such a stat line shows off just how high his ceiling can be.

He has the size and strength to play in the interior and defending bigger assignments, but the agility and mobility to play on the wing, serve as a secondary playmaker and match up against guards on the other end.

There are very few things on the court that Scottie Barnes can't do.
