Terrell Suggs made it clear after the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Los Angeles Chargers that he wanted to be back for a 17th season. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, those plans haven't changed, and the team does have interest in bringing him back.

After the season was over, Suggs said that he wanted to be a Raven for life, but if they didn't want him back he would find a new place to play.

“I would love to be a Raven for life. I’m healthy. I feel like I’ve still got some juice in the tank,” Suggs said, via the team’s website. “It’s up to them. We’ll have to see what happens. It’s a long time between here and March. Hopefully we can work it out, but if not, I’m going to be lining up for somebody next year.”

Suggs has played his entire career with the Ravens. Although he has lost a step, he is still a key part of the defense. It makes sense the team wants him back. This last season, Suggs appeared in every game for the Ravens and had seven sacks.

The two sides will now have to sit down and work out an agreement but it appears that things are heading in the right direction.

If the two sides can't get a deal done don't expect Terrell Suggs to just hang it out. There will no doubt be a market for him in free agency, but the hope is the two sides don't reach that point.
