Baltimore Ravens great Ed Reed called out the team for gathering and stomping on the Tennessee Titans' midfield logo following an interception by cornerback Marcus Peters.

Coming with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Peters' picked off Ryan Tannehill to secure the Ravens' slim 20-13 lead and propel the team to the AFC Divisional Round.

While Reed was clearly pleased with the result of the game, he did not attempt to hide his disappointment with how Baltimore chose to celebrate.

Though how it came about was certainly a surprise, the team's celebration was something that had clearly been discussed beforehand by the Ravens' defensive unit. Considering that the Titans had pulled a similar move twice before in Baltimore–including earlier this season in which head coach John Harbaugh confronted them–Tennessee should have expected the payback.

While the Titans had almost certainly hoped to avoid the issue altogether by putting up a winning performance, the late-game heroics by Marcus Peters ensured that they wouldn't get their wish.

At that point, all bets were off.

Not entirely satisfied with the victory and stomping the logo–which in turn earned them a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct–Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson then refused to shake hands with the Titans players following the conclusion of the game. Choosing instead to walk off the field rather than mingling with the vanquished Tennessee roster, Jackson told reporters afterward that he made his decision because of the way the opponents behaved earlier in the year.

While the two organizations haven't historically been rivals, it seems they are now.
