Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle could hit two birds with one stone if his team could take care of their business this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. A win over the Bengals would not only clinch Weddle and the Ravens a spot in the playoffs but would also inject the veteran’s bank account with $1 million.

According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, Weddle wasn’t initially aware of the stipulation in his contract that says he stands to get a million dollars if he satisfied two requirements – one is getting named in the Pro Bowl, and the other is the Ravens making the playoffs.

Weddle has already been named as one of the seven Ravens’ representatives in this season’s Pro Bowl, so the only left thing left for him to hit paydirt is Baltimore getting scheduled to play beyond Week 17.

Even if the Ravens loses to Cincinnati, Weddle could still get his million bucks should either the Buffalo Bills, or the Tennessee Titans lose in Week 17.

Weddle, who signed a four-year contract worth $26 million with the Ravens last year, leads Baltimore in interceptions with six to go with 62 tackles and a sack. He is an interception short of tying his career high of seven, which he had back in the 2011 season while playing for the San Diego Chargers.
