The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18. It should be a solid matchup as it's a battle between two teams in the AFC North. We haven't seen Lamar Jackson play for a while, but Joh Harbaugh provides a snippet of information on Jackson's playing status.

According to Jamison Hensley, John Harbaugh simply says “there's a chance (Lamar Jackson) play(s) on Sunday.” That's the most generic answer a head coach could give. The Ravens don't seem too keen on giving out too much information. However, Hensley does mention that Lamar Jackson is “pushing to practice.”

Do what you want with that information. Considering the Ravens are still in the hunt, Baltimore will be doing everything possible to get Lamar Jackson back on the field as soon as possible. It's been a rough year for this franchise as injuries have depleted the roster. Even so, they stay within reach of making the playoffs.

Tyler Huntley has been a nice fill-in for Jackson for the time being. It's not quite the same though, as Lamar Jackson brings an element to the game that most other quarterbacks can't replicate. The Ravens will bring him back when he's ready.

With the playoffs on the line, Baltimore might consider getting their star quarterback under center against the Steelers. This is the Ravens' last hope of making the postseason and they'll need the best possible lineup for this game. We'll see how it all plays out, but Lamar Jackson's status is something to monitor throughout the week.
