It has been a rough start to training camp for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson missed time due to COVID-19 and then made some questionable comments about vaccination. A few of Jackson's weapons have dealt with their own health issues, and now first-round pick Rashod Bateman just got hurt at Tuesday's practice and didn't return.

Details here:

The Ravens selected Bateman with the 27th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The 6-foot wide receiver starred at Minnesota and was one of the best receivers in the Big Ten during his time there. He caught 60 passes for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns in his sophomore season before playing a truncated junior season.

Baltimore is hoping to improve its passing game in a big way this season. While the Ravens' rushing attack with Jackson at the helm has always been dynamic, the passing game has been inconsistent. The issues have really popped up in the playoffs, where Jackson and the Ravens have struggled in recent years.

All these early injuries won't help matters, but hopefully nothing is all that serious. Furthermore, not everything is all bad, as Jackson made some big plays at practice on Tuesday:

This is what the Ravens want to see, but now they just need to get Jackson's weapons back to make life easier for him.
