Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was a surprise inclusion on Monday's injury report with a quad issue and was limited in practice this week, but on Tuesday, Jackson assured everyone that he felt great and that he would be on the field when the Ravens battle the New York Jets on Thursday.

So why, then, is Jackson listed as questionable for his team's Week 15 tilt?

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network eased the minds of Baltimore fans on Wednesday, saying that the only reason Jackson is listed as questionable is because “probable” doesn't exist anymore.

Of course, given that a huge part of Jackson's game is his running ability, any leg injury is going to be somewhat concerning, but you can bet that the Ravens would not be throwing Jackson out there if they didn't think he was good to go, especially with the playoffs just around the corner.

Jackson is a leading MVP candidate this season, as the second-year signal-caller has thrown for 2,677 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 66.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 109.2. In addition, he has rushed for 1,017 yards and seven scores while averaging a hefty 6.7 yards per carry.

Most importantly, Baltimore is 11-2 and is in the driver's seat in the race for the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The Ravens have won nine straight games, most recently defeating the Buffalo Bills by a score of 24-17 last weekend. After playing the Jets on Thursday evening, Baltimore will finish up its regular season with games against the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers.
