Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman isn't too concerned about his offense potentially struggling on Saturday if running back Mark Ingram can't go against the Tennessee Titans.

Ingram has missed the last two practices as he deals with a calf injury, and even though the outlook was initially positive, it now appears he might miss the AFC divisional round tilt.

Roman has trust in backup running back Gus Edwards and thinks the offense will perform just as well if he is the starter on Saturday.

“We love our backs, and [backup running back] Gus [Edwards] is obviously a very important part of that group,” Roman said via the Baltimore Ravens team website. “I think he would love lots of action, like you want him to. He’ll be ready. We really don’t have to skip a beat.”

Edwards has had a big year rushing 133 times for 711 yards and two touchdowns. Edwards said he hates what Ingram is going through, but he is ready to prove what he can do.

As for Ingram, the Pro Bowl back is listed as merely “day to day,” meaning the Ravens may have to adjust.

““It’s day to day, so we’ll see,” Roman said. “But that’s how it is in this league. You just have to be ready to adapt and adjust as it happens, like in the course of a game.”

The best-case scenario would be for Ingram and Edwards to both be healthy, but with Ingram being banged up, the team has a great backup plan in Edwards.
