The Baltimore Ravens snagged a draft steal with the 55th pick by selecting rookie running back J.K. Dobbins in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Ohio State Buckeye continues to impress and showcase his wares in front of his new team in training camp proceedings. For the first time this season, the Ravens took the field at the M&T Bank Stadium as part of their build-up for Week 1.

The ball-carrier recently showed a bevy of route-running skills as he twisted through a tackle from fellow rookie Patrick Queen. He also evaded a defender with a juke that left the man in the dust.

The 21-year old player showed his scoring abilities as he chalked up a leaping touchdown over undrafted linebacker Kristian Welch. Dobbins also evaded undrafted rookie safety Nigel Warrior with an open field move. Dobbins do it all.

His stellar play earned the praises of the Ravens' running back coach Matt Weiss:

“J.K., I've been really impressed with,” he said. “I think every day, his athleticism, his physicality, his vision – all the things that make a great running back – show up on the field.”

Dobbins was one of the best offensive talents that the Buckeyes football program has produced in recent years. He capped his three-year collegiate career with a total of 4,459 yards rushing, which makes him second-best all-time in school history. He also tallied 725 receptions and 38 scored touchdowns from 2017 to 2019.

He also won four Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week Awards, three Big Ten titles, and two bowl games. The 2017 Big Ten Championship game MVP and the 2019 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award are also part of his extensive hardware collection.

The rookie will aim to bring his dominant play to the big leagues and become a key contributor for the defending AFC North champions in the upcoming season.
