With Lamar Jackson firmly entrenched as a franchise quarterback, the Baltimore Ravens will zig while the rest of the league zags, committing to running the football like no other team in the league. Just because John Harbaugh's club is putting extra emphasis on the ground game, though, hardly means it will break the bank to sign the games top available running back.

According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Ravens are not in the running for superstar back Le'Veon Bell.

Bell sat out the entirety of the 2018 season after Pittsburgh designated him with the franchise tag for the second consecutive year. Though both player and team initially hoped to work out a long-term contract that would keep him with the Steelers for the foreseeable future, those talks deteriorated leading up to the regular season, further frustrating the three-time Pro Bowler.

Pittsburgh announced late last month that it would not franchise Bell for a third consecutive season, all but officially ending his tenure with the team.

No free agent has driven more interest in the league's player-movement period than Bell, and he's continued doing so during the legal tampering period that began on Monday. After publicly pondering his free agency decision on social media Monday afternoon, Bell went one step further on Tuesday morning by suggesting to NBC's Akbar Gbajabiamila that his mind has already been made up.

The Ravens, meanwhile, are reportedly nearing an agreement with veteran stalwart Mark Ingram, whose tenure with the New Orleans Saints came to a close when the team reached a deal with Latavius Murray on Monday.
