The Baltimore Ravens may have announced that head coach John Harbaugh will return next season, but that won't stop other teams from calling and asking about his availability, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Schefter says that at least one NFL team is considering placing a call to the Ravens about Harbaugh should Baltimore lose to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, which would likely put the Ravens out of the playoffs.

The team interested in Harbaugh believes that Baltimore might be more open to making a coaching change if the Ravens don't make the postseason.

Harbaugh has one year left on his deal after next season, but Baltimore recently announced that it is working on a contract extension for the long-time head coach.

All the Ravens need to do to win the AFC North division is defeat the Browns on Sunday afternoon.

Harbaugh took over as Baltimore's head coach in 2008 and has gone 103-72 overall in his 11 years at the helm. The 56-year-old led the Ravens to a Super Bowl title during the 2012-13 campaign and has led them to two division titles and six playoff appearances overall.

Harbaugh's status with Baltimore was up in the air coming into this season given the fact that the Ravens had not made the postseason since 2014, tying their longest absence from the playoffs since the franchise was birthed in 1996.

There will likely be plenty of teams in search of a new head coach this offseason, so if Baltimore somehow misses the playoffs, it can expect quite a few phone calls from around the league.
