Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins came into the NFL with high expectations set upon his shoulders. Given his status as a first-round pick, it's natural to think that he would remember his first game in the league.

However, the first-year Redskins signal-caller will be the first to tell you that he would rather forget about what happened during his first game. According to the Washington Post, Haskins believes that he played a terrible start against the New York Giants that it physically makes him sick just watching it.

“I throw up watching that film,” he said, via Les Carpenter of the Washington Post. “I don’t want to talk about it. It’s done with.

“It isn’t that I don’t like the tape. It’s just I’m a whole different player than I was back then,” he said. “I feel watching that tape is not me and it wasn’t me out there. You want to look at it and be like, ‘That’s what I messed up on,’ and move on from it. I don’t mind watching it. I just prefer to watch something else.”

Haskins had a poor start to his NFL career. He only completed 53% of his 17 passes. He didn't land any touchdowns but threw three interceptions. He didn't look comfortable playing in the NFL at all during this game.

However, he has since improved. While Haskins' numbers need improvement (1,232 passing yards and five touchdowns on 57% completion), he's shown that he has what it takes to carve himself a niche in the NFL.

As he gets more experience in the remaining weeks of the season and the years to come, he can definitely forget how his first official NFL start went.
