Adrian Peterson may not be the monster that he once was with the Minnesota Vikings back in the day, but he has shown over the last couple of seasons with the Washington Redskins that he still has some football left in the tank.

This afternoon against the Buffalo Bills, the 1-7 Redskins are looking to not get pushed around again. Bill Callahan has reverted back to utilizing Peterson in the right way, unlike Jay Gruden who didn't seem to like Peterson very much. The veteran running back has responded well to the increased role.

Buffalo has not had an answer for Peterson this week. On one play in particular, Peterson took a screen pass from rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins and picked up 22 yards.

Take a look at the catch and run from the veteran Peterson for yourself:

At the time of this writing, Peterson has carried the football 10 times for 101 yards and also has this reception for 22 yards. That kind of game shows just how good Peterson still is capable of being in the right situation.
