Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden went straight to an eye doctor after the team landed in Houston on Wednesday, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

The Rockets are optimistic Harden won’t have issues with his vision in Game 3 and beyond. The Beard suffered a contusion and cut inside his left eyelid on Tuesday after Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green hit him in the face during the first quarter.

Harden told reporters in his postgame press conference on Tuesday he could barely see when he returned to the floor. The Rockets' best player finished with 29 points while shooting 9-of-19 from the field and 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.

The Rockets lost Game 2 by a final score of 115-109. They are down 0-2 with the series shifting to Houston for Games 3 and 4.

TNT's camera caught a glimpse of Harden's eyes. The picture vent viral, as both of Harden's eyes were bloodshot red. The Rockets are going to need Harden to be Superman in Game 3. They can't afford to go down 0-3 in the series.

Harden is averaging 29.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists in the playoffs. The reigning MVP is shooting 37.7 percent from the field, 33.7 percent from beyond the arc and 88.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Game 3 is on Saturday.
