Le'Veon Bell has been one of the most talked about players in the NFL throughout the first few weeks of the 2018 NFL season. That discussion has been due to the holdout that Bell has been going through. He has sat out the first four games of the season due to his desire to stay healthy until he receives a pay raise.

Pittsburgh and Bell had contract talks this past offseason, but they could not come to an agreement on a fair compensation for what Bell brings to the field.

Rumors have been swirling that the Steelers are open to trading Bell ahead of the NFL trade deadline. As previously noted by ClutchPoints, three teams have shown interest in acquiring Bell. Those three teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and San Francisco 49ers.

According to a new report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Steelers have not received serious trade offers for Bell just yet.

There have been no reports about what kind of return the Steelers have been asking for in trade talks. More than likely, no team will be willing to give up the kind of asking price that Pittsburgh would want. Even though he is holding out, the Steelers are not going to move him just to make a trade.

Last season with the Steelers, Bell was absolutely dominant on the ground and through the air. He carried the football 321 times for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns. Bell also caught 85 passes for 655 yards and two touchdowns.

Nearly every team in the NFL would love to have a running back like Bell on their roster. Trade offers may get more aggressive with the trade deadline right around the corner, but it seems like it would be surprising if the Steelers moved their star running back.

Expect to continue hearing rumors about a potential Bell trade moving forward. If a team decides to offer an aggressive deal, the Steelers may have to consider pulling the trigger and moving on from the Bell drama.
