The Washington Wizards announced back in November that they were looking to trade their entire roster. They were mainly looking for a deal to package John Wall out of town. However, due to his contract and his injury, that's off the table for now. The organization is still invested in Bradley Beal, and it seems unlikely that he will be moved before the deadline.

However, that isn't entirely the case with their swingman Otto Porter. Porter is also making a lot of money. He signed a four-year, $106 million contract with the Wizards back in 2017. That's a lot of money for somebody that isn't scoring 20 points per game, at the least.

Per Zach Low of ESPN, teams have called inquiring on the young wing. The Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Dallas Mavericks have shown particular interest. The Jazz seemed focused on acquiring Mike Conley, Portland isn't willing to deal much of their young assets, and Dallas just traded away practically the entire roster for Kristaps Porzingis.

The Mavericks would be interested in doing a potential Harrison Barnes for Porter trade, but that seems out of the picture now. They aren't trying to take on a higher salary, and neither are the Wizards.

The Chicago Bulls could potentially sweep in with an offer built around Jabari Parker, a young asset like Kris Dunn and a draft pick/s, but it's unlikely that the Bulls would be willing to take on his salary. They believe they will be able to sign a free agent this offseason as well.

At the right price, Porter could be dealt away, but Ernie Grunfeld is driving a hard bargain.
