It's been 22 days now since Kevin Durant had made his decision. While it's been quite a while, many of us have still not been able to fully grasp the reality of him leaving the Thunder to join the Warriors. One player who has still not gotten over Durant leaving is Russell Westbrook.

It's understandable that Russell is in shock. He lost his partner in crime and the Thunder went from being title contenders to possibly not even making it into the playoffs.

According to Royce Young, Russell Westbrook is still upset and extremely angry at Kevin Durant:

Westbrook is taking time not just to figure out his next steps, but also to lick his own wounds. Reports have come out suggesting Westbrook's style of play influenced Durant to leave, though Durant publicly denied that in Las Vegas recently. The two have not spoken since Durant's decision. Those close to Westbrook say he's both angry and hurt not only by Durant's decision to leave but also because Durant didn't even call to tell him personally. Westbrook wasn't prepared to be in this position — three weeks ago, like everyone else, he thought Durant was coming back. And he had to learn the hard way he wasn't.

It's unfortunate that the two couldn't end on good terms given their history, but we had to expect that since Durant was leaving to join one of the Thunder's rivals.

All we can say now at this point is that the Thunder-Warriors games are going to be the must-watch games of the season.
