New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan is making no excuses. On Sunday, the 31-year-old was ejected in the fourth quarter of a tightly contested game against the Kansas City Chiefs for unnecessary roughness.

Jordan's early exit in the game left New Orleans  without a lineman in majority of the fourth, which ultimately resulted to his team's fourth loss of the season.

After the game, the 10-year vet took to his Twitter to take full responsibility of his actions:

“No excuses!” the Saints DE tweeted. “No matter how I feel about it, an ejectable offense was the outcome, I hurt the squad, and in the 4th quarter on a crucial drive! That's on me! This loss is on me! Can't happen! Whatever the correction I will be better.”

It was the worst time for Jordan to record his first ever ejection in his 166-game career in the NFL.

The frustrated five-time Pro Bowler came out of the wrong end of a scuffle against Chiefs o-line member Andrew Wylie early in the fourth quarter. The two exchanged some hits and Jordan's ensuing blow was a bit too high for the officials' liking, which ultimately got him tossed. As the Saints star put it, he did end up hurting the squad as Le'Veon Bell converted a 12-yard run the very next play to help Kansas City to take the W.

In the end, cooler heads did prevail, as Cameron Jordan and the Saints dropped to a 10-4 record after Week 15.
