The New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a heated NFC South matchup. During the first quarter of the game, Jameis Winston took a nasty spill and was sidelined with a leg injury.

Evan Closky shares the footage via Twitter, where you can see his leg get a bit twisted up as Devin White brings him down. It was an unintentional move from White, as he was doing what he could to prevent Winston from gaining more yards. The Saints are keeping this a close game, so losing Jameis Winston is not ideal.

Jameis Winston had to be helped off of the field, where he was eventually carted off from the sideline to the Saints locker room, per Larry Holder. He attempted to walk off the field himself but in the end, Winston needed assistance. He spent a short amount of time inside of the blue medical tent, then took the cart inside.

Hopefully, it's not as serious as it looks, as Jamies Winston is one of the more likable players in the league. He's had an up and down career in the NFL. However, he's at least entertaining as Winston isn't afraid to let it fly. The Saints aren't the best team in the league by any means, but they'll need Winston under center if they hope to remain competitive.
