The New Orleans Saints missed the playoffs last season mainly because their offense was brutal, especially in the passing game. The Saints rectified those issues this offseason and are now adding even more talent, bringing in former Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

The Louisiana native posted a video to celebrate coming home:

After star safety Tyrann Mathieu signed with the Saints, another former star at LSU is joining the Saints. In 12 games last season with the Cleveland Browns, Landry recorded 570 receiving yards on 52 catches. He posted at least 900 receiving yards in five straight seasons from 2015-19, going to the Pro Bowl all five of those years. Mathieu expressed his excitement about the move. The Saints' wide receivers could now be among the very best units in the league.

With former All-Pro Michael Thomas coming back and Chris Olave joining New Orleans after being picked 11th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, this Saints wide receiver group has a lot of firepower. With Jameis Winston slotted as the team's starting quarterback, it will be interesting to see how they do in the NFC South.

Although the Saints lost Terron Armstead in free agency, they have a load of playmakers to add to their rock-solid defensive unit. They went 9-8 last season and should improve after a busy offseason. A lot of pressure will be on Winston, but he will have all the weapons he needs to thrive.
