The New Orleans Saints are no doubt the biggest offenders of the NFL COVID-19 health protocols for the 2020 season. The franchise came under fire once more on Saturday, following a leaked surveillance video obtained by the league. It showed an interaction that may have played a factor in Alvin Kamara's positive test back in December.

The 25-year-old running back was scratched off in Week 17 against the Carolina Panthers, while several other Saints players were also ruled out because they were deemed high-risk close contacts with Kamara. Luckily for the Saints, Kamara managed to return during the Wild Card round thanks to a favorable schedule.

Two months removed from the incident, it seems that Kamara's positive test has more to it than meets the eye.

New Orleans violated health measures, allowing one person not employed by the club — who later turned out to be positive from coronavirus — to enter their facility. It remains unclear how big of a sanction the NFL brass will impose on the Saints this time.

It is worth noting that the franchise has already breached the strict health measures twice this season. The NFL fined the Saints $250,000 and an additional $100,000 for head coach Sean Payton after they failed to wear face coverings in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Saints did not learn their lesson from that incident, as they performed a maskless celebration following an overtime win versus the Chicago Bears in Week 9. That stunt cost the team a staggering $500,000 dollar fine and a seventh-round pick next draft.
