Teams across the NFL have been discussing what to do in the wake of the situation involving Jacob Blake, a black man that was shot by the police and paralyzed from the waist down. In response to the dreadful incident, the New Orleans Saints are paying tribute to Blake on the practice field.

The Saints, as they took the practice field on Thursday, were sporting Blake's name across their helmets. Janoris Jenkins, who is entering his first full season with New Orleans, was the first player to show the sticker on his helmet.

Besides Jenkins, the Saints' official Twitter account showed Latavius Murray wearing the sticker on his helmet as well.

Unlike other teams in the NFL, the Saints decided to practice on Thursday despite some teams deciding against it. The Detroit Lions were the first team to cancel practice on Tuesday amid the unfortunate situation involving Blake. Even though the team is taking action by wearing Blake's name on their helmets, Craig Robertson said that the team plans on doing more to incite change.
