The New Orleans Saints have announced their 2019 inductees into their franchise's Hall of Fame. It was announced on Wednesday that Reggie Bush and Marques Colston would be inducted into their Hall of Fame this season.

New Orleans drafted Bush with the second overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. The playmaking running back would play with the Saints for his first five seasons in the NFL. In those five seasons, he carried the ball 524 times for 2,090 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Bush also was able to catch 294 passes for 2,194 yards and 12 touchdowns with the Saints organization. He was also part of New Orleans team that won a Super Bowl in 2009.

As for Colston, he was drafted by the Saints in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Both him and Bush came in the same year. Unlike Bush though, there weren't high expectations to be a star in the NFL.

Colston ended up becoming one of the most underrated guys in the NFL at his position. The talented wideout played 10 seasons with the Saints before retiring after the 2015 season. Therefore, he was also part of the 2009 Super Bowl roster.

During his 10-year career, Colston brought in 711 receptions, 9,759 yards, and 72 touchdowns. The most impressive aspect of his career was that he caught all 72 of his touchdowns from Drew Brees.

In addition, the 72 touchdowns between Brees and Colston are the sixth-most in NFL history between a quarterback and wide receiver. Colston will be remembered as one of the most successful wide receivers in Saints history.

Despite some fans possibly disagreeing with the selections, the Saints chose two players who deserve to be remembered in their franchise's history.
