Don’t tell Seattle Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark any story about San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman and the latter’s comments made in November about the state of his former team.

Sherman, who referred to the Seahawks as a “middle of the road” squad last month, is set to meet Seattle again this coming Sunday, this time, however, in Santa Clara. Clark obviously did not like what Sherman had to say about Seattle, so he decided to respond with some blunt words, per ESPN.

“He's not in this locker room no more, so his opinion really doesn't matter,” Clark told reporters. “They've got some problems over there in San Fran that he needs to be worried about.

“… This is my team now. This is my defense. Richard Sherman, his era is over here,” Clark continued. “If he's got anything to say about our defense, he can say it on the field, at the end of the day.

Frank Clark earns a point there, as San Francisco does have plenty of problems to fix, which is abundantly clear based on the 49ers’ pathetic 3-10 record. While the 49ers have been booted out of playoff contention, Clark and the Seahawks are on a roll and could book a spot in the postseason if they could take down San Francisco this coming Sunday on the road.
The Seahawks crushed San Francisco back in Week 13 to the tune of a 43-16 win at home. Seattle (8-5) is currently on a four-game win streak and they will look to extend it in the upcoming rematch with the 49ers.
