Doug Baldwin is without question the most dangerous wide receiver on the Seattle Seahawks' roster. He has developed over the years into a legitimate star. That could be exactly why Baldwin is unhappy with the way that the Seahawks used in Week 5's 33-31 loss against the Los Angeles Rams.

In an interview with the Seattle Times, Baldwin opened up about his frustration with the way that he was used last week.

“Honestly, no. I know you guys could tell after the game, I mean there’s a mixture obviously of being upset about the loss but then also only being targeted one time in the game. As a receiver, I’m not worth my salt if I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I think every receiver across the league if they’re being honest and truthful with you would say they’re not OK with getting one target. But obviously, the course of the game, it was a shootout, we had to do what we had to do. … It’s frustrating because I want to be more a part of it. … It’s part of football.”

Seattle nearly was able to knock off the only remaining undefeated team in the NFC. It was a great game, but the Seahawks could not make the necessary plays down the stretch. Perhaps a heavier dosage of Baldwin would have helped them.

Against the Rams, Baldwin only ended up catching one pass for one yard.

Baldwin has missed time this season due to a knee injury. He has caught just six passes for 42 yards in the three games that he has taken part in this year. Those numbers are not going to cut it for him.

Russell Wilson and Baldwin need to get back on the same page in Week 6 against the Oakland Raiders. Jon Gruden's defense has not looked great this season, which could open up some opportunities.

Expect to see the Seahawks work hard to get Baldwin involved early and often. He is the top receiver and it's time for them to give him the targets he deserves.
