The Seattle Seahawks' 2019 schedule is out and now that quarterback Russell Wilson got his much-deserved deal, the team can finally focus their attention fully on their 2019 season.

Seattle will face off against the AFC North, NFC South, in addition to their NFC West rivals. They also get two potentially tough matchups with the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings.

Seattle's Week 12 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles has all the makings to be one of the season's best games. The Seahawks will hope to contain the Eagles potent passing game after losing safety Earl Thomas to free agency. Although Thomas left the Seahawks for the Ravens, Seattle still has a solid defense lead by a great linebacker trio. Seattle's defense could matchup well against the Eagles, but they will have their work cut out for them in this road game.

Their matchup with the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 could be a huge test for Seattle as they will face off against one of the league's best-looking teams heading into the new season. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has a similar play style to Russell Wilson so it will be a presumable shootout as the Seahawks will try to stifle the Browns in another difficult road matchup.

Wilson and the Seahawks offense held the league's best rushing totals in 2018, so it would be surprising to see anything different in 2019. Seattle's defense has a lot of making up to do if they want to get back to when the “Legion of Boom” terrified opposing offenses.
