Seattle has had a rocky season and sit at 5-8 on the year. Russell Wilson missed multiple games, which has contributed to their slow start. The Seahawks are winners of two straight and have put themselves back in the Wild Card race. Wilson and the offense is starting to click and will be vital on their playoff push.

If Seattle can pick up a win this week, they will be right on the cusp of being in the playoffs. That being said, here are four bold predictions for the Seahawks Week 15 matchup against the Rams.

4. Rashaad Penny gets multiple touchdowns

With so many injuries to running backs on the Seahawks, Rashaad Penny has become the lead back. Last week against the Houston Texans, he had a dominant performance. He rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.

Penny played like an elite back and contributed heavily to their offensive showing. He will now get more opportunity in the offense, which sets up another big game. While the Rams have a good defense, Penny and the offense are rolling. He should have another outstanding performance with his run style.

3. Tyler Lockett goes over 100 yards again

Tyler Lockett has been getting his chemistry back with Wilson over the past few games. Against the Texans, he had five receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. He is an underrated receiver and a great deep threat for Seattle's offense. His skill set makes him tough for opposing teams to cover, especially with D.K. Metcalf on the other side, and Wilson throwing him the ball.

Although the Rams have a good secondary, Wilson and Lockett should continue to have a good connection. This game could turn into a shootout, and their connection would be integral for the Seahawks' offense.

2. Seahawks lose in a close game

While the Seahawks are on a roll, the Rams are way more talented. They have superstars on offense and defense and are coming off a great victory over the Arizona Cardinals. On the other side, Seattle has been inconsistent and have not proven that they can win big games this season.

It should still be a close divisional matchup as Wilson isn't going to give up easily, but the Seahawks will likely come away with a loss.

1. Russell Wilson throws for three touchdowns

Wilson has not played to the same standard fans are accustomed to, and some of that can be attributed to his injury. He has picked it up over the last few weeks and is getting back to his normal self.

It will be a tall task to have a great offensive performance against the phenomenal Rams defense, but Wilson has proven that he can overcome top defenses in the league. This season, he has thrown for 2,302 yards along with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.

A loss against Los Angeles will put Seattle in a difficult spot if they want to make the playoffs. It will take an incredible run from Wilson and the Seahawks in this game and the rest of the way. Seattle has a challenging journey ahead to make the postseason, and it all starts with this pivotal game against the Rams.
