The Indianapolis Colts moved up to 5-2 on the season after a 41-21 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. But aside from the Colts’ back to back wins, social media was also buzzing on the performance of running back Nyheim Hines, not just for his football skills, but also for his hidden gymnastics prowess.

The 23-year old Hines led Indianapolis in receiving with three receptions for 54 receiving yards and two touchdowns while adding five carries and eight rushing yards on the ground. But it was his two touchdown celebrations that caught the attention of many, as the former NC State product did cartwheels and backflips that are normally seen at gymnastics competitions.

His flip even impressed a certain Olympic gymnast – maybe the greatest of them all, in fact.

That’s four-time Rio Olympics gold medalist Simone Biles showing her admiration for Hines’ celebrations at the end zone. With 30 Olympic and World Artistic Gymnastics Championship medals, including 19 gold medals at the World Championships, the 23-year old Biles is considered as the greatest gymnast of all time.

If someone of Biles’ stature has given her seal of approval to Hines’ touchdown celebrations, then his routine really was impressive, and fans certainly hope is the running back has more reasons to celebrate in the Colts’ coming games to see even more of his breathtaking celebrations.

Nyheim Hines and the Colts, meanwhile, will try to make it three wins in a row next week when they face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
