Andre Drummond's stint on the Philadelphia 76ers was made very interesting because of his previous feud with Joel Embiid. Drummond said the beef between them was never serious and they seemingly got along in Philly. The stint only lasted 49 games, as Drummond was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a package that brought James Harden to the Sixers.

Although Drummond's calling card will always be rebounding, making absurd plays is one of his tendencies, too. He is not afraid to attempt wild passes that fail miserably. While this may be harmful to his teams at times, it makes him one of the more intriguing players to watch.

Sixers head coach Doc Rivers said that he texts Drummond all the time since the two have been acquainted since Drummond's high school days. After a recent crazy pass from Drummond, Rivers was incredulous and asked him about it. Rivers also said that the team misses him because of the positive chemistry he helped create.

In addition to his blunder, Drummond threw down a vicious dunk over Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Nets' win over the Milwaukee Bucks. He is averaging 11.2 points and 11.0 rebounds in a more prominent role. With the Sixers, he averaged 6.1 points and 8.8 rebounds while shooting 53.8 percent from the field.

Philadelphia won't miss Drummond too much, though. Landing Harden was worth depleting their center depth behind Embiid. The narrative of Harden vs. the Nets and Ben Simmons vs. the Sixers would be prominent when the teams play. In the background, Drummond and Rivers will be facing off in a battle between old friends.
