With Anthony Davis available at the trade block, fans cannot help but voice out their desire of wanting their team to acquire him.

Philadelphia 76ers general manager Elton Brand was on the receiving end of such a request during a game. And Brand dealt with the fan the only way he knew how.

Michael Lee of The Athletic was a witness in all this. In their game against the Toronto Raptors, where they were pummeled 119-107, a fan decided to voice out his request right at Brand.

The general manager was seemingly not in the mood and worse, he didn't want to be told what to do.

The 76ers haven't been part of the trade rumors surrounding Davis. The top favorite has been the Los Angeles Lakers — but that deal has died down with the Feb. 7 trade deadline around the corner.

And the Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers, Boston Celtics, and the New York Knicks — teams that are preferred destinations for Davis — will likely wait it out in the summer where they can sign more assets to make their team more attractive for six-time All-Star.

Back to the 76ers. Perhaps there's a good reason why they decided not to enter into negotiations involving Davis — a three-time member of the All-NBA First Team. The most obvious one is that they have Joel Embiid — probably a top three center in the league right now.

The team also holds a decent 32-20 record.

There's not enough reason on why Brand should pull the trigger for a roster shake-up midway into the season.
