James Harden already said that he's not feeling any pressure as he heads into his postseason debut with the Sixers. The former MVP stated that “he's ready to hoop” and that “there's nothing to it.”

Talk about supreme confidence, right? Not everybody will agree with the seeming lack of urgency in Harden's message. Be that as it may, the 10-time All-Star could not care any less. In a recent interview, Harden explained why he doesn't believe he has anything to prove in the postseason:

“No, I don’t. I don’t,” Harden told Zion Olojede of Complex. “For me personally, I always want to go out there and play well and contribute in whatever way I need to contribute but for me, it’s going out there and playing my game, trying to help my team win. I don’t feel any pressure, I don’t feel any of that.”

Harden has been through more than a few playoff battles in the past so perhaps this is the reason why he's not feeling any pressure at the moment. However, it's hard not to imagine how he indeed has something to prove — especially after he did what he did to force his way out of the Nets to join the Sixers. Let's also not forget that Philadelphia fans are some of the most unforgiving bunch in the world, so there's that, too.
