Tempers flared during the Sunday night clash between the Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards. Big men Joel Embiid and Montrezl Harrell got tangled up during a heated moment late in the third quarter.

Both players were assessed a technical foul on that play. It didn't take long before Montrezl Harrell was hit with another one, getting ejected less than a minute later after yet another skirmish against the Sixers star.

After the game, Montrezl Harrell had some choice words for Joel Embiid, calling out the Sixers center's “toughness” in the process.

“He got an And-1. He wanted to yell at my face,” said Harrell. “I pushed him off. He backed up and went, ‘ohh, ohh I got pushed.'”

“Stand on your toughness, bro,” he continued in his tirade against the Sixers star. “If you're so tough, stand on that my dude. Don't start nitpicking and pointing and wanting to tell on me when the ref walked in. Stand on that. Cause as you see, I am. I got tossed. I wish it wouldn't have been in the situation that it was in, but I don't regret it.”

Questions on toughness aside, Joel Embiid clearly got the better of the Wizards side on the evening. He posted 36 points on an insanely efficient 17 shots as Washington simply didn't have an answer for the Sixers star, falling to the Philly side, 117-96.
