The Philadelphia 76ers have themselves a budding superstar in Tyrese Maxey. The 21-year-old's strong play this season is a clear testament to this notion. As a matter of fact, even Sixers teammate Georges Niang could not help but sing Maxey's praises.

When asked to talk about his young teammate, Niang had nothing but praise for the Sixers guard. According to Niang, he firmly believes that Philly has unearthed a real gem in Tyrese Maxey:

“He's just a joy to be around,” Niang said on SiriusXM NBA Radio (h/t Lee Tran of Fadeaway World). “Not only is he a tremendous player, he's an even better person… his development this year is something I've never seen in all my years of basketball… I think we found a perennial All-Star. The kid is so talented: he has blazing speed, he showed it on both ends of the floor. He can shoot the ball at an elite level, and off the dribble… he just works and I think this is going to be another huge summer for him.”

The Sixers appear to feel the exact same way about Maxey after reports emerged that he's virtually “untouchable” in terms of a potential trade. Philly has a lot invested in this young man and he appears to hold the keys to the future of this franchise.
