The Philadelphia 76ers were run off the court in Miami as the Heat throttled them for a 120-85 win.

It was not a pretty sight for Sixers fans everywhere after their team that looked to have turned the corner in Games 3 and 4 looked like a ghost of its former self on Tuesday night.

One voice that was highly critical of the Sixers' performance was outspoken ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith, who called out the Philly side for a complete lack of effort.

“This is one of the most awful performances I’ve seen the Sixers put forth in a long time. No effort whatsoever, from start to finished. Look like they just laid down, rolled over and said “we’ve got Game 6 on Thursday.” Guess they were looking for another overnight stay in Miami,” said Stephen A.

It's hard to crucify the Sixers too much given that Joel Embiid looked heavily affect by his injuries throughout the contest. But Philadelphia did look lethargic at times during the contest and lacked the defensive intensity necessary to steal a pivotal Game 5 on the road.

But the series is far from over as the teams head back to Philadelphia. If Sixers hope to wash away the sour taste of Game 5 from their mouths, it starts with a win on Thursday night.
