Joel Embiid's Game 3 buzzer-beater against the Toronto Raptors doesn't have that much of an impact if you take a look at it. The Philadelphia 76ers were up 2-0 prior to the contest, and with the talent disparity, it's hard to see them losing the playoff series.

Still, that game-winner couldn't come at a better time for the Sixers. Although Embiid doesn't really need any, that shot is a massive confidence-booster. It is his first time making a clutch shot like that, and there's nothing more that Philly can wish for than a confident JoJo in the playoffs.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Embiid was 0-14 on game-tying or go-ahead field goals in the final seconds of a game–be it in the fourth quarter or OT–both in the regular season or playoffs. With that said, for him to actually make the shot will only benefit him and the Sixers further.

The series is not yet over, but it is definitely Philly's to lose. The Raptors just have no answer for Joel Embiid, and while they keep fouling and getting physical on him, it has not stopped the big man from dominating on both ends of the floor.

Toronto also cannot expect the Sixers to play as poorly as they did on Wednesday night. With that said and the way things are trending, it looks like Embiid and his Philadelphia squad will be cruising to the second round early.
